Let me take this occasion to make a small tribute to a person that I have much to thank. I can still remember exactly the first marathon he did, at kilometer 30 stopped, could not more, running does not sit well, and see that I tried, but he put much effort, I could not get the required kilometers. As I sometimes think, you never know if what you get is good or bad, only time is that it has the power to judge this.
That experience made him part of the marathons since Valencia, but from another perspective. Taking advantage of his condition from a very young skater practice, and that led him to reap victories in numerous championships, as well as being a coach of the former national champion speed skater, a video camera one day OCOG, and decided to join the marathons, recorded entirely those we participated in one of the brothers Ferré.

Today I decided to write this little post to tell you that I think that having a family skating is one of the good things that happen to me, that no notice needs to know that is always there, and when he grabs the camera, just ask How does this work?

Hello friends, here are what most already a classic, the video of the 2009 marathon, I hope you like it, to express to you the feelings that I have to do the entire test with my daughter Maria, and the reward the ultimate goal.

I want to congratulate and thank all somehow people who have made it possible for Maria on her second marathon, and I will try to name them all, let me at the risk of someone, but I think they deserve special mention: Society Roadrunner sports, organizer of the test, especially its president, Paco, my heartfelt thanks for everything you have done for us and for giving us your support, to the Rett Syndrome Association of Valencia, for helping us and represent all those girls who have been had to live a disease that should not ever have anyone great team at Blue Line, who not only gave us the car that is Maria, but it is some amazing people, who think more of helping others that if themselves, without a doubt a great sports example to us all too numerous to my entire family, especially my brothers, Juan and Vicente that one day many years ago taught me what was a marathon, I hope you join me in the year coming as we did before, to my brother-Rubio, the tireless skater, that through him we see all these videos, to my friend Edi that neither one is lost, my wife, and of course all those who follow us Race after race, and I hope to continue doing so year after year. Hello friends, so there are only 4 days to that at 9 am, about 4000 athletes defy the mythic distance of 42 kilometers 195 meters. Understanding that will say good weather, and very importantly, it will not air, which took several years the wind has hurt us a lot.
Well, I want from here to give encouragement to all who choose us to help you read to encourage everyone, since not only are we Maria and I, if not many more participants, which in the last km I will be very useful to those cries of encouragement to help them continue to give one step after another, not to stop, to continue to cross that finish as desired arc.
Those who will participate in the marathon, I just want to tell you to finish the race, not only depends on having trained well, just bring km, neither few nor too many, which is very difficult, but to be convinced that we to do the marathon from start to finish, and especially the marathon does not run with your legs, if not something much more important ... .. the head.
